Substitute Teacher
Responsibilities:
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
- Maintain classroom order and manage student behavior.
- Engage students in learning activities and ensure a productive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (non-bachelor's degree candidates may be considered)
- Ohio Substitute Teaching License (https://sboe.ohio.gov/educator-licensure)
- Teaching certification preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Substitute Aide
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one support to students as needed.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ohio Educational Aide Permit (https://sboe.ohio.gov/educator-licensure)
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Substitute Custodian
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Ensure school facilities are safe, clean, and ready for daily activities.
- Respond to emergency cleaning situations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Substitute Bus Driver
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and school district policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL with school bus endorsement.
- Clean driving record.
- Strong attention to safety and punctuality.
