Professional Development Day
Parent/Teacher Conferences
The Wheelersburg Local Schools will hold a Professional Development Day for staff members and Parent/Teacher Conferences as follows:
1) Wednesday, October 23, 2024 - There will be no school for preschool and kindergarten students. Preschool and kindergarten parent/teacher conferences will be by appointment throughout the day.
2) Thursday, October 24, 2024 – There will be no classes for students at Wheelersburg Elementary, Wheelersburg Middle or Wheelersburg High School. The staff will have professional development activities.
3) Thursday, October 24, 2024 – Transportation will be provided to students who attend classes at Portsmouth West Middle School, Minford Elementary, East Portsmouth Elementary, SCCTC, and CAPE.
4) Friday, October 25, 2024 – Transportation will be provided to students who attend classes at Portsmouth West Middle School, East Portsmouth Elementary, SCCTC, and CAPE.
5) Thursday, October 24, 2024 - Conferences in grades PS-3 will be held from 2:30 - 5:00 & 5:30 - 8:30 pm (by appointment). Conferences for grades 4-12 will be from 2:00 - 5:00 & 5:30 - 8:00 pm.
The teachers will have a short dinner break from 5:00 - 5:30 pm.
6) Friday, October 25, 2024, there will be no school in lieu of conferences.
