Arthur D. Preston

Arthur Preston was a lifelong educator. He began his career, teaching in a one-room school in Madison Township. He was also a basketball coach in the 1940’s. He served as principal of Wheelersburg High School from 1956-1963, and superintendent at Wheelersburg from 1964-1968. His goal throughout his lifetime was to convey his devotion to and compassion for his students and the community of Wheelersburg. Mr. Preston passed away December 8, 1986.
