Known as “Bob” to most people, he served the students of Wheelersburg as a classroom teacher, coach, and administrator. He taught Social Studies at both the Middle School and the High School. As an administrator, he served as an assistant high school principal and elementary principal. Coach Schwamberger served as junior high football coach and varsity assistant football coach. He started the girls’ junior high basketball program and later served as girls’ varsity basketball coach. He also coached the golf team.

Family was very important to Bob. He was a dedicated husband, father and family man.

Work Experience:
Bob began his career in education in 1972 as a substitute teachers for Green Local, Valley Local and New Boston School districts. He then became a full-time teacher at Wheelersburg for the next twenty-eight years.

Master’s Degree in School Administration: University of Dayton
