Phillip Ray Green was a 1973 graduate of Wheelersburg High School. He was the son of Sudie and Rinford Green. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in business, majoring in marketing.

He distinguished himself in his profession and in his community work.

Work Experience:
In Columbus, Phillip was an Advertising executive with Jones, Anastasi & Mitchell. He was the Marketing Director/Vice President at Stanley Steemer, in charge of all franchising. In Atlanta, Georgia, was the Vice President at International Floor covering and at Maxim, Inc.

Community Service:
Phillip Green participated in numerous charitable fundraisers while living in Columbus. In Peachtree City, Georgia, he worked in his church and founded Braelinn Baptist Community Services. He served as President of the BCS Board of Directors. He was also a youth soccer league coach, while in Georgia.

Honors:
Dogwood Baptist Church (formerly Braelinn) is constructing a new complex and the building housing BCS is to be named Green Hall.
